BOAT: [removed phone] Contender Open(30ft LOA). The boat originally served as a tender in Miami before I bought it in Sept 2009. I re powered with a new pair of 200 HPDIs in March 2010(originally had 200 HPDIs on it as well). I use it to bottom fish and troll out to 100 miles from St Pete, Fl. The boat is rigged to fish and has been the perfect boat for me, my family, and my fishing buddies. It is small enough to tow around with no problem and handle at the dock and sandbar by myself, and big enough to fish offshore in whatever I want to fish in. I have kept the boat on a covered lift for the past 6 years. NOTABLE FEATURES: 210 gallon fuel capacity in 3 tanks. Each tank pressure tested Feb 2016.All electronics replaced in past 4 years(Furuno FCV585, Raymarine C95 with HD radar, Clarion CMD8 with XM/Sirius antennae, VHF, 2 pairs of JL Audio component speakers with 2 10in subwoofers,350 quart Frigid Rigid coffin box, Electric reel outlets, New T top canvas ENGINES: As I said above, I re powered in March 2010. The motors were flawless until the port side oil fill cap vibrated loose/was left off during all of the rains we had in August 2015. The port engine obviously ran lean due to a boneheaded mistake and a new Yamaha powerhead was installed by Central Marine in Oct 2015. Back at the end of July 2016, I started toying around with the idea of selling the boat. I decided to have the annual service done a few months early and I noticed a knock as I started the engine to load it on the trailer. Central Marine diagnosed the knock as a wrist pin bearing failure. Subsequently, I decided to have a complete rebuild done by Marine Rebuild Specialist in Seminole, Fl thinking that I would rather have everything taken care of for piece of mind while offshore and so that I could sell with a clear conscious if that was the avenue I decided to take. The rebuilt motor comes with a 1 year warranty from Marine Rebuild. TRAILER: Replaced original trailer with a 2010 Ace tandem axle(10400lbs) with all stainless hardware. I only trailer a few times a year, but I don't want to be stuck on the side of the road on a weekend. I have the trailer serviced annually because I have taken the boat to Destin, Mississippi, and Louisiana multiple times for family vacations and fishing trips. This year, I had all questionable hardware replaced by Loadmaster Trailer and put on a new set of Load Range E radial tires before our trip to Destin in June. BOAT LOCATION: St Petersburg, FL (33711)
